Ran it on the slicks last night. Still have alot of tire spin. Ran good enough to get booted from the track. :)

Woot Woot! Congrats again robin, its nice to see locals going that fast especially with some raceline tuning. There is still more left in your car but just not in your turbo... I think some concentration to the suspension and bigger slicks would benefit GREATLY at this point. And after that a turbo would be in order lol.
Next spring the SOHC's WILL tear it up in Cincy.
Here is a taste for ya's :)

I think a clean track would help a bit too, probably head up to tristate next weekend if it's nice out.

It has traction bars, urethane bushings and skunk2 drag launch springs. I'm not really sure what else would make the most improvement.

tristate didnt work as well for us in robbies car, he ran a little slower there. Meet us up at raceline tomorrow morning at 10 we are going to go to kilkare. That track is better than both and tomorrow is the import faceoff so that works out even though you might get the boot. Its 30 minutes from the shop and im sure you can get it down a couple more tenths there. If that dosent work out i might just set you up with my 25" slicks for next friday at edgewater  . I dont think 10's would be a big problem with those. P.S. The only thing is you will have to get extended wheel studs and have coilovers in the front for them.
Gear dependant boost or a dual stage controller would help your 2nd gear spin ALOT

I think some taller slicks and a working dual stage launch will get you 10s.

What's your exhaust setup? You are making a hell of a lot of torque, just curious.

I've had enough racing for one weekend. Good luck up there.

3 inch downpipe, exhaust, and flowmaster muffler.

Robbies car put down 430 20 psi on pump on the mustang dyno. Jeff put down 365 on 15 or so psi " i cant remember" Jeff is in school so he didnt come down. Robbie made 2 full passes, we broke an axle 1st time up so we rigged some stuff to get the car running. We didnt have much else with us to fix stuff so he took it easy down the track plus the engine is hurt and has been all year. The engine has actually lost 50 WHP on the same boost in the past 2 months if that gives you an idea. Cant expect much more from an engine that has had its ass kicked for 2 years lol. In the quick 8 finals he won with a 11.50 to an 11.80.

Sorry to thread jack.... Back on to robin and his badass SOHC!!!

That's ok, glad to hear you guys did well. :)

A guy i work with caught a couple of the runs on video. The first was launching on 12 psi, it spun a little. The second was launched without building any boost. Need to find somewhere in between. :)
